About me:
Ana Sokoloff is a founding partner of sokoloff + associates, llc., an art advisory company active across the international contemporary art market tailoring a curatorial approach to each client’s interests and providing comprehensive guidance on collection strategy, management, and long-term affiliations.
In line with the changing market, Ana and her team have expanded their practice into advising for blockchain technology including tech companies, artists, and collectors interested in leveraging new possibilities while bridging long standing practices.
Previously, she served as Vice President of the Department for Latin American Paintings at Christie’s New York. A champion of contemporary Latin American art, she was instrumental in broadening the market by introducing a new generation of artists into Christie’s auctions. Ana also worked as Exhibition Coordinator at the Americas Society, and as the Director of Exhibitions and Cultural Programs at the Permanent Mission of Colombia to the United Nations.
Ana has curated exhibitions for international venues, given conferences, and written critical essays on contemporary and Latin American art for international art journals. She co-founded Bodega Piloto, located in Bogotá, Colombia, and Teatro Union in the historic town of Honda, Colombia. Additionally, she has served on the advisory boards of the Americas Society, the Art Advisor’s Association of America, and the Museo de Arte Moderno de Bogotá (MAMBO). She currently participates as an active member of the Director’s Circle of Triple Canopy, NY.
