Diana Segantini

Advisor, Culturmanager, Curator

Switzerland

About me:

Diana Segantini is a curator, cultural entrepreneur and art advisor with more than 20 years of international experience across arts and culture, cultural mediation, storytelling and philanthropy.

She is the founder of Segantini Unlimited, an agency specialising in curatorial projects, cultural mediation, art advisory and international cultural productions, ranging from exhibitions and films to music performances and cultural conversations.

Throughout her career, Diana has worked across Europe and the Middle East at the intersection of culture, media and intercultural dialogue. She spent six years as Head of Arts & Culture for Swiss television, radio and multimedia and has led cultural and heritage projects in the Middle East. Earlier in her career, she worked in the humanitarian field, including four years as a delegate for the International Committee of the Red Cross.

As the great-granddaughter of painter Giovanni Segantini, Diana has also played an active role in preserving and reinterpreting her family’s artistic legacy. She has curated exhibitions in Switzerland and internationally, including major presentations of Giovanni Segantini at Fondation Beyeler and Palazzo Reale in Milan.

Diana holds a Master’s degree in International Relations, specialised in documentary filmmaking and radio broadcasting, and holds a PhD in Arab Islamic Culture. Fluent in ten languages, her work is shaped by a deep understanding of cultural exchange and a belief in the power of storytelling, dialogue and human connection to create meaningful encounters with art.
