Curator

Poland

About me:

Jacek Sosnowski is a curator-psychoanalyst working at the intersection of art, film, and architecture. His current practice focuses on exploring the indigenous character of Eastern Europe, the relationship between humans and machines, and the role of violence in art.

Over his two-decade-long career, Jacek has held roles such as curator, gallerist, producer, publisher, and organizer. He now leads an independent curatorial practice, PRPGND, which evolved from Galeria Propaganda. Additionally, he serves as the vice-president of Warsaw Gallery Weekend, focusing on international relations.

To date, he has curated over 150 exhibitions and projects, including the Polish Pavilion at the 18th Venice Architecture Biennale. In addition to exhibitions in private galleries, he has curated shows at state and local museums and art institutions. His work has also included art branding projects, resulting in a lasting legacy of public art commissions.
